2024 NASS Corn Production Estimates

Mississippi growers planted 490,000 acres and harvested 470,000 acres of corn, and produced a yield of 186 bushels per acre yield level and over 87.42 million bushels produced in 2024.

Checkoff Report: The Mississippi Corn Promotion Board is supported by a corn checkoff of $.01 per bushel. The board funds research projects that help farmers increase yields, reduce production costs, and grow a healthier crop. – See all videos
